WHY I'M RUNNING
Immediately after the 2024 election, I announced my candidacy for President of the United States in 2028.
Not because I expected the political establishment to take me seriously.
Not because I wanted to raise millions of dollars.
And certainly not because I needed another job.
I did it because I wanted to prove something.
That ordinary citizens can still participate.
That you don't need permission.
That you don't need wealthy donors.
That you don't need a political machine.
And that in the age of social media, ideas can still travel farther than money.
I refuse all campaign contributions.
I don't want your money.
I want your attention.
And I want your willingness to think independently.

AN OLD IDEA FROM AUSTRIA-HUNGARY
One of my favorite stories comes from Emperor Franz Joseph.
For decades, ordinary citizens could request personal audiences with the emperor.
Farmers.
Teachers.
Merchants.
Widows.

People with problems.
People with ideas.
People who simply wanted to be heard.
The emperor couldn't solve every problem.
But he understood something many modern leaders have forgotten:
Sometimes leadership begins by paying attention.
Not fundraising.
Not speechwriting.
Not polling.
Listening.
My own version of that idea is much smaller.
I call it a Life Intervention.
For years I've spent fifteen minutes at a time helping people identify the real problem hiding underneath the obvious one.
Sometimes that changes a life.
Sometimes it changes nothing.
But it always starts with a conversation.
And if America needs anything right now, it may be more
conversations and fewer slogans.

AMERICA NEEDS A LIFE INTERVENTION
Over and over again, I've discovered the same thing:
The visible problem is usually not the real problem.
The real problem is hidden underneath.
That's true for SAT scores.
It's true for businesses.
It's true for relationships.
And I believe it's true for America.
We're arguing endlessly about symptoms while ignoring root causes.

We're treating fevers while ignoring infections.
We're fighting over teams while forgetting the mission.
America doesn't need another slogan.
America doesn't need another consultant.
America doesn't need another billion dollars of advertising.
America needs a Life Intervention.
An honest conversation about what's actually holding us back.

TRUTH, JUSTICE & THE COURAGE TO SHARE PRIVILEGE
Most politicians talk about freedom.
Most politicians talk about justice.
Almost nobody talks about privilege.
I do.
Not because privilege is something to be ashamed of.
Because privilege is something to be shared.
If you've been fortunate enough to receive a good education, a supportive family, financial success, valuable connections, good health, or opportunities others never had, you have an opportunity to help someone else rise.
That's not charity.
That's citizenship.
A healthy society doesn't punish success.
It uses success to create more success.
That's what I mean by:
Truth, Justice & The Courage To Share Privilege.

WHY I REFUSE DONATIONS
Most campaigns begin with fundraising.
Mine begins with independence.
No PACs.
No special interests.
No wealthy donors.
No obligations.
Nobody gets influence because they wrote a check.
Nobody gets a seat at the table because they funded my campaign.
If this campaign succeeds, it succeeds because people voluntarily share ideas they believe in.
If it fails, it fails honestly.
Either outcome is acceptable.
Freedom begins when nobody owns you.

A LESSON FROM ETHIOPIA
Years ago, a close friend approached me about helping raise money for an orphanage in Ethiopia.
For months we met with wealthy people.
Meetings.
Promises.
Introductions.
More meetings.
Very little progress.
Eventually I realized something:
It was taking more effort to convince other people to solve the problem than it would take to solve it myself.
So I wrote a check for $100,000.
The result was a 10,000-square-foot orphanage.
That experience permanently changed how I think about leadership.
Most people spend their lives waiting.
Waiting for permission.
Waiting for consensus.
Waiting for someone else to act.
Sometimes the fastest way to solve a problem is simply to stop waiting.

THE TRUTH ABOUT ME
I'm not a polished politician.
I'm not pretending to be perfect.
I've been married four times.
I'm an atheist.
I've made mistakes.
I've changed my mind.
I've failed at things.
I've succeeded at things.
I've buried my only daughter.
And somewhere along the way, I stopped worrying about what other people thought of me.
What you see is what you get.
I have nothing to sell.
Nothing to gain.
Nothing to prove.
Only ideas worth discussing.

MY DAILY PODCAST
If you're going to evaluate a presidential candidate, you shouldn't have to rely on thirty-second clips, attack ads, or carefully rehearsed talking points.
You should hear them think.
That's why I recommend starting with the podcast.
Over the years I've discussed education, entrepreneurship, relationships, reinvention, happiness, politics, philosophy, and the unconventional ideas behind Wizard 2028.
Long-form conversations reveal character in a way slogans never can.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Maybe you'll decide this campaign is ridiculous.
Maybe you'll decide I'm completely wrong.
Maybe you'll decide America doesn't need a Life Intervention.
Fair enough.
But before you leave, I have a challenge for you:
Find one problem in your own life that's been frustrating you for months—or even years.
Then ask yourself:
What if the visible problem isn't the real problem?
Because that's the question I've spent more than thirty years helping people answer.
And occasionally, it starts with a simple fifteen-minute conversation.

FOR PARENTS OF 9TH & 10TH GRADERS
A 1530+ SAT score is rarely built in junior year.
It's built years earlier through reading, habits, discipline, and systems.
That's why I guarantee results for qualified students who start early enough.
